Asics (Onitsuka Tiger)
In 1949, Kihachiro Onitsuka established Onitsuka Tiger, with a philosophy of promoting youth health through sports. Regular consultation with sportsmen and there coaches helped to make the best sports shoes in Japan, and from 1952 onwards the shoes have played a part in most major marathons and Olympic games.
